The historic 1914, Scottish Rite Masonic Center has a 402-seat proscenium theater. Schemmer was retained to design the renovation of the theater. All main floor seats were removed, a new hardwood floor installed, and the entire theater was repainted. The historic character of the theater comes to life in the 217 new seats. The original aisles were widened and seat spacing increased to make the theater experience more appealing and comfortable. A new sound and light booth was constructed at the rear of the theater and a new theatrical lighting and sound system was installed.
