Schemmer has provided design services for 27 cold storage facilities throughout the United States. Each facility was designed within strict requirements and features insulated slab-on-grade with under floor warming in freezer areas. Each of these facilities typically consisted of spread footing, steel frame structure, preformed insulated metal wall panels, steel joists, metal deck with insulation, four-ply built-up roofing, dock equipment and doors.
