Creighton University Lied Education Center

Creighton University
The new Lied Education Center for the Arts consolidates activities and provides architecturally and technically superior spaces for education, performance and exhibition. The building's strong architectural image helps sustain daytime and evening activity on campus. The interior is flexible in both interior layout and use of individual spaces. The facility's people-oriented lobby also functions as a reception area. The rusticated stone of the building relates strongly to the historical character of the old administration building and St. John's Church, both of which are within view of the new arts facility. Schemmer and Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates won an architectural design competition for this new facility.
