Selfridge Field

Schemmer developed a Design-Build Request for Proposal (RFP) for a 65-unit lodge at Selfridge Field (a joint Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard installation located in Harrison Township, Michigan, near Mount Clemens) by conducting an on-site charrette and developing site and first- and second-floor plans. Services included financial analysis, cost estimating, permitting and  investigations necessary to support the infrastructure criteria at Selfridge.

The project consisted of design and construction of a new Lodging Facility that includes 65 guest rooms, lobby and registration areas, breakfast room, fitness room, administrative offices, public toilets, guest laundries and vending areas, support storage and maintenance areas, an in-house laundry, a delivery dock and parking for 69 vehicles.
