Our planning team's recommendations and estimates were basis for a developer-led proposal to update an existing historical structure. HUD grants, tax exempt bonds, tax credits and/or historical preservation options have been considered. Plans call for an interior remodel and renovation that would provide 30 new apartments for seniors, as well as renovate 32 existing units. Schemmer also assisted with an application for low-income housing tax credits.
