Bridge Scour Inspections

Schemmer is currently performing bridge scour inspections using NDOR’s Scour Evaluation Guidelines. The models are used to predict scour depths and determine whether the site or structure needs rehabilitation to ensure stability. Schemmer also uses GIS to map locations and survey aspects of each bridge within study area. We also conduct a watershed regression analysis using the spatial analysis tool for each bridge in the study area to assist in the calculation of the impact of scour upon the subject bridges.
