Schemmer provided functional and final design services on the three projects, including:

  • A grade-separated intersection (diamond interchange at U.S. 275/U.S. 6 intersection)
  • Hydraulic analysis for four bridge structures at Box Elder Creek
  • Bridge type, size, and location plans and final bridge design
  • Public information meeting
  • Public hearing
  • Five miles of four-lane expressway
  • Interchange roadway lighting per state guidelines

Schemmer also developed right-of-way plans for all three projects.

The hydraulic study on Box Elder Creek was done at two locations.

Statistics

  • Interchange bridges: 41.860-meter single-span girders with integral abutments and MSE retaining wall substructures.
  • Box Elder Creek bridges: 34.500-meter single-span girder.
