MOPAC Trail Bridge Over North 27th Street

Schemmer provided the final design for the new pedestrian bridge that connects trail segments on the east and west sides over North 27th Street in Lincoln. The bridge provides a vital link in the MoPac trail, developed in right-of-way along abandoned Missouri Pacific Railroad lines. The signature truss span was developed with input from adjacent neighborhoods. The arched top of the bridge will be illuminated at night with fiber optic lighting.
