Schuyler Bypass

Schemmer provided preliminary design and final design for a four-lane divided expressway on U.S. Highway 30. The project created a bypass around Schuyler, Nebraska. The design included right-of-way, field survey, hydraulic analysis, and preliminary bridge design for four sites, two of which are grade separation interchanges with existing roadways.

For the Schuyler Bypass, Schemmer won Honorable Mention in the 2006 Engineering Excellence Awards competition, American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), Nebraska.
