Schemmer NAMES NEW PRESIDENT, CHAIRMAN
Omaha, Nebraska (October 25, 2002) -- Schemmer, an employee owned company providing architectural and engineering services, announces that Frank W. Comisar, AIA, will become President of the firm, and Roger J. Wozny, P.E., will become Chairman effective February 1, 2003, the beginning of the company’s fiscal year.
Comisar is currently operations vice president of the Omaha office. He joined the firm in 1986 and has served as manager of Architecture, project manager, and manager of Information Technology. As president and CEO, Comisar will provide leadership and general management of the firm’s architecture and engineering practice.
Comisar is a shareholder and elected member of Schemmer board of directors. He is a registered architect in ten states and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Comisar is also a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Wozny, a registered professional engineer in 22 states, joined the firm in 1971
and has played a key role in marketing, corporate planning, human resources, production, and finance. He has been president since 1986 and acting chair of the board since 1993 for corporate and shareholder matters.
As Chairman, Wozny’s duties will focus on major national market development, client service, and implementation of strategic initiatives for the company.
