Schemmer Announces GROUNDBREAKING
Omaha, Nebraska (November 25, 2002) -- Schemmer, an employee owned company providing architectural and engineering services, announces the start of construction of a new Pottawattamie County equipment maintenance shed located about halfway between Council Bluffs and Treynor, Iowa along Highway 92.
The 180,000 square-foot building is expected to cost around $1 million. It will be paid for through revenues the county receives from casino gambling money that is traditionally set aside for large capital projects.
The facility will serve primarily as a repair and cleaning facility for county equipment, as well as large-equipment storage. It is scheduled for completion in October 2003.Schemmer is the contracted architect for design.
