Falls City Aquatic Park

Located between Old Highway 73 to the west and Highway 73 to the east, the Falls City Aquatic Park is designed for the entire family!  The main features of the new facility include a 12’ deep diving well with both one and three meter boards, a 6-lane/25M lap pool, a plunge pool with two water slides, an area for water basketball/volleyball, a water walk challenge course on floatables, a turtle toddler slide and additional water play features in an expansive zero-depth pool area.  This zero-depth area will gradually allow pool patrons to enter the water much like at a sand beach, but with a concrete pool bottom.  If bids come in better than expected, additional amenities such as parking lot improvements, pool lighting for night swimming, a splashground with water features and additional water play equipment could also be incorporated into the project.

Bids for the project will be opened in early August 2005 with an anticipated construction completion date mid-June 2006.
