Schemmer has received two 2021 American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Nebraska Merit Awards.
The categorical Merit Awards were awarded to the firm for our N-79 Improvements – Agnew North and South and the Pine Lake Road Improvements, 61st Street to Highway 2 projects in Category H: Transportation.
ACEC Nebraska Engineering Excellence Awards
Once a year, the ACEC celebrates those exhibiting the most innovative projects as a highlight of EWeek. A national panel of more than 30 built-environment and industry leaders, along with experts from government and academia, reviewed and ranked top winners during a 2021 Virtual EEA Judging that was held on February 18-20, 2021. Award criteria focused on uniqueness and originality, technical innovation, social and economic value, and generating excitement for the engineering profession. Winners were featured in the Omaha World Herald's ACEC Nebraska Engineering Excellence Awards Special Section on February 21, 2021, and will also be recognized at the upcoming 54th Engineering Excellence Awards Gala, to be held later this year.
