Schemmer's 2021 Interns have been learning and experiencing many things this summer.
Our Interns come from a variety of schools including, University of Nebraska - Omaha, University of Nebraska - Lincoln and Iowa State University. During their Meet and Greet the Interns talked about, "Don't be afraid to ask questions; your team wants to help you." This is great advice for everyone! They especially have appreciated opportunities to use concepts and programs they have learned in school in real-life scenarios.
Our Interns had a Breakfast With the President at Le Peep in Omaha, where they heard more about the company's history, how our organization is structured and had an opportunity to ask Steve questions.
Other parts of our internship program include a tour to a Schemmer job site, and a professional development session.
