His parents were a big influence in his life, and a college professor really impressed him. "He scared me to death because he knew everything," said Dan. But his greatest achievement and biggest leap of faith was deciding to have a family. "It changes you immensely. It changes your view on everything. Politics, life, everything," Dan said.
