In January 2019, Schemmer's Matt Hubel, PE, CPSWQ, LEED AP BD+C, licensed civil engineer and Schemmer shareholder, published a white paper for a project at the City of Omaha's Missouri River Water Resource Recovery Facility. The project received an ACEC Nebraska Merit Award for its use of innovative design and technology.
