Michael Sinclair, AIA Nebraska President, Presents at 2020 Recognition Ceremony
On Friday, November 6, 2020, newly-licensed architects and professional engineers were recognized at the Nebraska State Capital. As 2020 president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Nebraska Chapter, Michael Sinclair, AIA, NCARB, Shareholder, spoke to the recipients, their families and guests about the value of design, creativity and curiosity in today’s evolving world and the obligation each of them now has to advocate for their respective professions. Five architects and 20 engineers received their professional certifications.
Sinclair has served on the state board for the past four years, and previously on the Lincoln board for a total of seven years. The American Institute of Architects is the voice of the architectural profession and a resource for its members in service to society.
Sinclair joined Schemmer in 2016. He holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In his 21 years of practicing architecture, he has worked on projects for:
