Project Details
Schemmer is providing design and construction phase services to renovate 5,400 SF of labs and offices in the USDA’s Edward T. Schafer Agricultural Research Center (ETSARC) to meet current ARS Standards (including ARS 242.1M). The project is to reconfigure and renovate the labs along both sides of the corridor to create six separate BSL-1 labs. An office pod and corridor renovation are included. This design was placed on an ultrafast design schedule to allow it to be negotiated with an 8A contractor before the end of the fiscal year.
