Project Details
First Data Resources (FDR) engaged Schemmer to provide architectural design services for the remodel of their Crown Point Facility. The project consisted of three separate interior renovation projects, which were time sensitive for design and construction.
The first project consisted of designing a 2,900 SF customer area with three private conference rooms and a public waiting/refreshment area. FDR requested that the design contain glass and have a fun, vibrant, open feel.
The second interior renovation project consisted of remodeling two existing office areas totaling 8,500 SF. The existing space was outdated, dark, and the furniture arrangement was obsolete. FDR requested the office spaces to be bright, open and collaborative. Schemmer’s design incorporated an updated furniture solution along with adding open and enclosed collaboration space. Both areas received new finishes that tie to the customer area design for continuity.
The third interior renovation project consisted of 7,500 SF of production space for CD Rom recording. FDR was relocating this function from another building and needed to downsize the required space based on new technology they were using. Schemmer assisted in determining the best placement for the space in the existing building and the layout.
