Schemmer* was tasked by the Tea Area School District with designing a 30,500 SF five-section grade school for Frontier Elementary School on a very limited budget. Our team was designed Frontier Elementary School a core structure for one section and appropriately sized support spaces with the ability to add up to four more sections over time as the District grows and budget allows. Central core utilities are engineered to accommodate this phased growth while maintaining optimal efficiencies. All phases exceeded the latest energy codes. Construction was completed in the fall of 2015.
