Project Details
Schemmer provided final bridge design and limited construction phase services for a new structure on U.S. 65 over the Des Moines River Overflow. The new bridge will facilitate the flow of the Des Moines River flood waters. The new bridge is six spans, 700-feet long, with five piers. The piers are supported with drilled shaft foundations that were load tested during construction.
