Project Details
Schemmer provided roadway and bridge design services for the replacement of a triple 10‑foot by six-foot reinforced concrete box culvert. The structure is located over the West Fork of Wildhorse Creek, approximately three miles south of the town of Luther in Oklahoma County. The box culvert was a Works Progress Administration era box culvert that had deteriorated to a structurally deficient bridge rating. Schemmer designed the replacement structure of the same size and the bridge approaches for the project, which was lengthened and skewed to the roadway to better match the existing creek orientation.
