Schemmer remodeled a 6,900 SF first floor tenant space into a Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), complete with four Operating Rooms, two Procedure Rooms, and corresponding Pre-Op, Post-Op and Recovery bays. The space also includes a reception and waiting area, as well as, staff support areas. The design team worked closely with the owner to create a space that not only fits all of the required components, but also provided an efficient layout for both patients and staff. The design incorporates built-in wayfinding for patients, through the use of flooring patterns and ceiling elements. The mechanical and electrical systems were fully upgraded to meet the high standards of a surgical space. Schemmer provided the architectural, mechanical and electrical design for the project.
