Project Details
While working through a five-year contract with the South Dakota Air National Guard (SDANG), Schemmer* was assigned this first phase of the Mega-Maintenance facility. The 47,765 SF Aircraft Maintenance Facility will service 10 F-16 fighter jets with maintenance space for fuel, wheels and general purpose shops.
Phase I includes administrative offices, planning and work space for weapons systems, avionics, electronic countermeasures, seat and canopy, electro/environmental and many other essential maintenance shops. Support spaces in the SDANG Aircraft Maintenance Facility include restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, tool cribs and storage required for full-time staff and National Guard training weekends.
