Project Details
In 2007, the Sumtur Amphitheater, designed by Schemmer, was opened. The open-air facility includes a large stage for music and theatrical productions, and a large backstage area for storage, dressing rooms and restrooms. Two separate concessions/restroom buildings were constructed, fixed seating for 300, with overflow lawn area easily accommodating an additional 1,500 people. In 2010, Schemmer designed a new concession/restroom building to meet the growing needs of the popular amphitheater.
