Project Details
Schemmer initially conducted a study of this clinic, as well as the Neurosurgery, Pain and Neurology Consultants of Nebraska clinics to determine how to best utilize two floors (12,180 SF each) of the Clarkson Doctors Building North at the Nebraska Medical Center campus. It was determined that the Neurology Clinic should remain on its current floor and expand to include additional exam rooms and workspace for nurses and providers. The design team also took a look at the efficiency and privacy aspects of the existing reception desk and provided design options to address shortcomings.
Since the clinic was growing within its existing floor plate, it was critical to look at possible construction phasing in order to ensure smooth operation of the clinic and positive patient experiences throughout the construction phase of this project.
