Project Details

Schemmer has performed several projects for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) over the past 25 years. Most of our work for the USACE has been as a subconsultant. We are currently a teaming partner on a USDAC Omaha Fuels System D-B MATOC contract with Argus. We provide architectural, structural, HVAC and electrical design for the associated facilities including fuel testing labs, fill station structural design and pump building ventilation.

Schemmer is the designer of record for the USACE’s Offutt AFB Flightline Facility project to replace five facilities after the 2019 flood. Schemmer has performed survey, staking, material testing, geotechnical investigation, and hangar floor design work for other Offutt Flood recovery projects for various contractors. Schemmer has also been involved with the Missouri River Levee projects by performing survey and geotechnical work for APTIM Federal Services. Additionally, Schemmer has a USACE-certified material testing laboratory in the Omaha Metro area.
