Project Details
The University of Nebraska – Lincoln Athletic Department is planning a structure to provide a wind shield for the various “throw” sports including: javelin, discuss, hammer throw and shot put. The 10,600 SF facility will enable the sports to be practiced indoors by providing space for the cages and netting, and javelin runway, but allowing the throw to be released to the exterior. In addition to the throw cages, the building includes two fully-enclosed practice rings, space for weight and cardiovascular training equipment, lockers and a 500 SF meeting room.
