Project Details
The transfer building has unique features, such as a tall concrete retaining wall over which the accumulated trash is pushed into an open-top semi truck trailer parked along the low side of the tall wall. Geotechnical parameters for the wall included effect on site soils at the wall due to the weight of the trash, truck weight, and weight of a large front-end loader machine.
