Project Details
Using a design/build agreement, Schemmer partnered with Hausmann Construction to design and build a new health and wellness lodge for the YMCA Camp Kitaki.
At approximately 4,200 SF, the building has a nursing area, sleeping/bunk rooms for campers and staff, a secure medicine area, a decompression/rest area for campers, and a dedicated laundry and restroom facility.
Through a controlled door, the Welcome Lodge houses the management offices, conference room, reception desk, and support spaces for the camp.
Solar panels are planned for future inclusion for renewable energy production on site.
