Schemmer’s Matt Sutton, PE, LEED AP, attended a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening for the new Sullivan Supply headquarters in Dunlap, Iowa on Friday, June 8, 2018.
Schemmer was retained by Sullivan Supply to provide architecture, structural, mechanical, site/civil engineering, survey and construction materials testing for the 65,000 SF pre-engineered metal building that houses their new corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution center. The corporate headquarters includes a showroom, offices, training and space for research and development. The warehouse has storage racking along with picking equipment that will increase the efficiency of the order fulfillment process. The manufacturing area consists of product assembly, maintenance and repair.
