Schemmer's 126th & Giles (Perrigo) Distribution Center project was selected for the 2014 Eastern Chapter Nebraska Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) Engineering Excellence Award. Matt Sutton, P.E., LEED AP and Matt Hubel, P.E., CPSWQ, LEED AP, from Schemmer and Russ Cooper from Midwest DCM, attended the Chapter Awards luncheon on May 27th and gave a short presentation about the project.
"The Eastern Chapter NSPE Engineering Excellence Awards are intended to recognize noteworthy engineering projects within the Eastern Chapter. Evaluation criterion is based off of engineering principles (25%), originality and innovation (25%), complexity (20%), social significance (15%), and economic impact (15%)."
