SCHEMMER teamed with Treanor Architects Student Life Studio for the programming and renovation of the 100,000 SF, nine-story residence hall containing 434 beds at Wayne State College. The project was a renovation and remodel of the 1966 building. It included new study areas, restrooms, building finishes, mechanical systems, window replacement and improvements to existing electrical and fire alarm systems to achieve code compliance and greater energy efficiency. The scope also included furniture selection and specifications for all common and staff areas.
