On Saturday, October 28, 2017, Schemmer's Jason Heinze, P.E., S.E., LEED AP, was invited by Dr. Steven Schulz, Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management, to speak to the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s Executive MBA Class of 2017. The Class is in the process of studying Operations Management and Heinze spoke about “Facility Design and How it Affects Operational Efficiency.” Using previous project experience as examples, the discussion points included the importance of master planning, establishing clear project goals, evaluating successful design and the importance of designing a facility with the end-user in mind. Heinze has been asked to return next year and speak to the Class of 2018.
