SCHEMMER's Doug Holle, P.E., and Greg Kizzier attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Elkhorn River Trail in Norfolk, Neb. on Monday.
This one-mile long trail is funded with Federal Transportation Enhancement Program funds administered through the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR). The improvements on this project consist of concrete pavement for a 6-inch-thick, 10-foot trail; a 100-foot-long pedestrian bridge over Corporation Gulch; and a 20-stall parking area.
