As part of their 2017 Centennial Anniversary Celebration, the Nebraska Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) hosted a public outreach event at the Omaha Children’s Museum on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Matt Hubel, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, CPSWQ, ASCE Centennial Committee Chair, attended the event. Over 400 kids and families participated in activities including making toothpick gumdrop domes and playing with Keva Planks. They also received goody bags with building blocks, stickers and Civil Engineering handouts.
