Shane Larsen, AIA, was recently elected to the Advisory Council for the Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston, Iowa.
Bishop Drumm Retirement Center was founded in 1939 by the Religious Sisters of Mercy and serves nearly 300 residents with a full continuum of care including independent and assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Bishop Drumm is a CHI Living Community, a subsidiary of Catholic Health Initiatives. The organization provides comprehensive care in a variety of living options, including independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care and rehabilitation services.
Schemmer has had the privilege of working directly with CHI on several projects and indirectly with our religious clients whom we work with from coast to coast. As a member of the advisory council, Larsen will provide community input regarding the affairs and operations of Bishop Drumm and act as a liaison and ambassador.
