The American Council of Engineering Companies of Nebraska (ACEC/N) has named Steve Kathol, P.E., S.E., Schemmer’s President and Chief Executive Officer, as its National Director. Kathol previously served as Past President and State Director.
Kathol leads Schemmer operations across six regional offices. He has a 20-year track record of success with the company, and is an accomplished and respected leader in the A/E industry. Kathol was also past President of the Nebraska Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is active with the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Engineers Club of Omaha, Structural Engineers Association of Nebraska and Structural Engineering Institute.
ACEC/N represents over 50 consulting engineering firms doing business in Nebraska. Its mission, consistent with the goals of the national organization, is to improve the quality of life in Nebraska by strengthening the business environment for and image of the consulting engineering profession.
