Project Spotlight: Stonebridge Trail | City of Lincoln
Schemmer's Stonebridge Trail project is a 10-foot wide concrete trail for bicycle and pedestrian use in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. The 6,600-foot long trail begins at North 14th Street and Humphrey Avenue, which was the terminus of the North 14th Street Trail. The end of the Stonebridge Trail connects with the existing Alvo Road Trail near Kooser Elementary School. Stonebridge Trail was constructed within the new and existing right-of-way, adjacent to and within a residential development.
The project was funded with Federal Transportation Alternatives Program funds administered through the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
