Dan leads Schemmer’s Architecture group, helping guide teams and projects with a practical, client-focused approach. He’s known for listening closely, understanding what clients need, and turning those ideas into creative, functional designs.

His experience spans a wide range of project types, including commercial, industrial, multi-family, office, religious, and retail. That variety allows him to adapt quickly and find the right solution for each unique project.

Dan has a natural ability to take project requirements and translate them into thoughtful designs that work in the real world. He keeps things grounded, balancing creativity with what’s practical and achievable.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys fishing, hunting, and golfing, along with spending time in the kitchen, especially smoking meat. He’s also no stranger to a challenge, having gone through two ACL replacement surgeries on the same knee.
