Elena Hoff, PE

Elena has more than 8 years of experience as a structural engineer and has designed many commercial, industrial, education, and multi-family facilities. She is licensed in Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa, and has design experience across 16 states. Elena recently relocated to Denver to establish Schemmer as a premier design firm in the mountain region. Elena obtained a Bachelor’s in Physics from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2013 and completed her Master’s of Science in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structures at the University of Nebraska in 2016.

• Her original dream was to design rollercoasters, but decided buildings can be just as neat.
• Has coached high school and club girls volleyball, taking teams to the Girls Junior National Championships twice.
• Loves climbing mountains as long as the views are worth it.
