Corning Elementary School was transformed into a modern, welcoming learning environment designed to support students, educators, and the broader community. Developed in close collaboration with Southwest Valley Community School District, the project reflects Corning’s investment in its children and its confidence in the future.

The improvements include flexible classrooms, an expanded early childhood education center, a new gymnasium, enhanced storm protection, an inclusive playground, and upgraded athletic facilities. Renovations to the existing school complemented the new additions while improving safety, accessibility, and opportunities for collaboration.

Completed in 2025, the school provides an adaptable setting for contemporary education and a lasting community resource. As Principal Allison Thomas shared, “It wasn’t just their design. It became our building. And that makes it something we’re all proud of.”
