Schemmer developed Educational Specifications (program) and design for expansion and renovation of the 54,700 SF elementary school. The programming process indicated a need for 26,000 SF of additional space, including 10 additional classrooms, a new library/media center, new gymnasium, relocated main entry, expanded playground areas and improved parking and traffic flow. The entire existing building was renovated with a new HVAC system, lighting and technology, all to enhance the education environment.
