Tracy brings more than three decades of experience in the A/E/C industry, with a career that’s taken him through the classroom, on construction job sites, and into leadership roles focused on building strong relationships and growing the business.

Over the years, he has worked as a teacher, field superintendent, project manager, and marketing and business development leader. That range of experience gives him a well-rounded perspective and helps him connect with clients and teams at every stage of a project. Today, he serves as corporate secretary on Schemmer’s board of directors and his work centers on business development, client relations, brand strategy, and strategic planning, all with a focus on delivering meaningful results.

Tracy has also been active in the community and industry, serving on the board of directors for the American Red Cross Heartland Chapter, leading as a past Chapter President of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, and a graduate of Leadership Omaha Class 34.

He originally planned to become an architect, but found his path in construction and teaching, experiences that continue to shape how he approaches his work today. He also spent time coaching high school basketball, golf, and fast-pitch softball, reflecting his passion for mentorship and teamwork.

When he’s not working, Tracy enjoys spending time outdoors, boating, fishing, hunting, and golfing.
