Mark brings four decades of experience in architecture, guiding projects from early design through construction with a thoughtful, big-picture approach. His work spans a wide range of project types, including higher education, campus master planning, research laboratories and greenhouses, faith-based facilities, healthcare, and senior living.

He earned both his Bachelor of Architecture in Environmental Design and Master of Architecture, with an emphasis in Urban Design, from the University of Oklahoma. Mark is a licensed architect in Texas and Oklahoma and remains actively involved in shaping the profession.

He currently serves on the Edmond History Museum Board of Directors and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, including past service as presidents of AIA Oklahoma and AIA Central Oklahoma. He continues to contribute through the AIA Oklahoma Government Affairs Committee and is involved in several community organizations, including the City of Edmond’s Central Edmond Urban District Board, the Board of Directors for Oklahoma Baptist Villages for Senior Living the Edmond Rotary Club, and the Edmond Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of work, Mark has been playing drums in various groups for more than 50 years, a creative outlet that’s been part of his life just as long as architecture. He also enjoys running and training for half marathons with family and friends, along with spending time outdoors trekking, backpacking, and camping.
