Matt is a bridge engineer with nearly two decades of experience designing and evaluating a wide range of bridge systems. His work includes steel and concrete superstructures, foundations, and complex structural analysis, giving him a well-rounded understanding of how bridges perform from design through construction.

He has worked on everything from girder bridges and culverts to trusses and retaining walls, applying both AASHTO Standard Specifications and AASHTO LRFD guidelines to ensure projects meet all applicable performance and safety standards. Matt is known for his ability to step into challenging situations and find solutions, often serving as the go-to resource when projects call for a deeper level of problem solving.

That mindset started early. As a kid, Matt was always building with Legos and Construx, and that curiosity still shows up in how he approaches his work today.

Outside of engineering, Matt is a music enthusiast with a wide-ranging collection of physical CDs. He also claims a unique ability to metabolize Diet Pepsi, Diet Dr Pepper, and Coke Zero.
