Tyler serves as a Transportation Team Lead in Schemmer’s Omaha office, bringing more than a decade of experience working with municipalities, cities, and state departments of transportation.

His work includes both rural and urban roadway design, along with recreational trails, storm sewer systems, and traffic signals. Tyler has also supported numerous roadway and ADA curb ramp projects, giving him a well-rounded understanding of how transportation systems come together.

One of Tyler’s strengths is helping others clearly see the full picture. He regularly models projects in 3D to help stakeholders better understand design decisions and feel confident in how a project will impact the surrounding area. That attention to detail, combined with his experience across multiple project types, allows him to see how each piece of a corridor fits together.

Tyler earned his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is a recent graduate of the ACEC-NE Emerging Leaders Program. He became a shareholder of the firm in 2024.

Outside of work, Tyler coaches his sons’ youth baseball team and has run the Market-to-Market Relay for the past four years.
