Alex brings more than a decade of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on roadway design and hydraulic analysis. He has worked on many urban trails, municipal streets, and highway projects across Nebraska, helping guide both design and project management efforts (local and federally funded) from start to finish.

He also plays a key role in projects involving complex drainage and floodplain permitting. His work includes bridge modeling, large culvert analysis, and floodplain certifications, giving him a strong understanding of how water impacts infrastructure and how to design with that in mind.
Alex earned his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is a graduate of Schemmer’s Leadership Academy.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys hunting and fishing and has traveled extensively throughout North America and Europe. At home, he’s often working on remodeling projects or building something custom in the shop, a reflection of his hands-on approach both on and off the job.
