Kevin brings more than three decades of experience in civil and transportation engineering, with a focus on roadway design and CADD automation. He has supported a wide range of public sector clients, including state departments of transportation, counties, and municipalities.
In his role, Kevin provides design support across multiple teams and helps ensure projects meet state standards in Nebraska, Iowa, and Oklahoma. He is also a certified remote pilot through the Federal Aviation Administration and has been utilizing drone technology for more than a decade to capture terrain data, improving design accuracy and efficiency.
Kevin has contributed to several major projects, including I-80 from Maxwell to Brady, the U.S. 77 Beltway in Fremont, the Lincoln South Beltway, North 24th Street Streetscape, and the U.S. 30 expressway upgrade from Schuyler to Rogers. He has also played a key role in high-profile efforts such as the ROC 52 and Big “I” design-build projects in Minnesota and New Mexico, where he led project design and CADD management, as well as serving as project manager for the MnDOT REALMS and Tower projects.
With a background in Surveying and CADD Technology, Kevin brings strong technical skills and a commitment to quality to every project. He is especially known for pushing the limits of CADD through custom programming and 3D visualization, and has been recognized as a Bentley Premier Scholar through Bentley Systems.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys building and restoring classic arcade and pinball machines, a nod to his roots as an 80s arcade kid. He is also fascinated by great white sharks and never misses Shark Week, though he will be the first to admit that movies like Jaws have made him think twice about swimming in the ocean.
