Lincoln, NE – Schemmer’s Michael Sinclair, AIA, Architecture Manager in our Lincoln office, has been selected to serve on the AIA Nebraska Board of Directors as the Lincoln Section Representative for a two-year term.

In this role, Michael will represent the more than 170 active AIA members in the Lincoln area, serving as both an advocate and unified voice for the issues and opportunities shaping the architectural profession.

“As Lincoln Section Chair, I will represent the architects and firms from our city as an advocate and unified voice for the issues and concerns that affect our profession,” Michael shared. “I believe we have an obligation to serve each other, our community, and our professional organizations to the best of our ability, now more than ever.”

Throughout his career, Michael has been actively involved in several local and state boards that support the architectural community. Those experiences have given him firsthand insight into how a strong professional organization can make a lasting impact, both in strengthening the profession and in enriching the communities it serves.

Michael’s selection reflects his steady leadership and commitment to the people around him. Whether he is guiding a project team or contributing to the future of the profession, he leads with the same goal in mind: to make architecture better for the communities it serves and the professionals who shape it.
